Chela, this is my first introduction to your work and I love your voice! Hell yeah for middle aged women to not become invisible before their very eyes. Just watch and see what we are capable of!

As a Sex Coach I resonate so deeply with what you said about teaching boys about pleasure and trauma responses. I'm actively working on that for females and agree that the boys and men need it too.

Happy Birthday! 💖💝🩷

I love your observations! As always, you inspire!

As evidenced by my response below.

In reference to number 4: the etymology of the word “crone” is carcass.

I adore and agree with your insight that ENCHANTRESS is a more accurate description of the embodied transition a woman can experience in her journey through the phases of her life.

Having just turned 65, I have spent a lot of time considering what this means. I will offer that “to crone” is not something I aspire to, as it’s really a state of dis-embodiment… on our way to a quiet death… out in some isolated pasture.

As you move from Enchantress into the next phase of your lived experience, perhaps, ICON is the word that most accurately describes a woman who is continuously bringing herself to life - living genuinely, authentically and vitally - inviting all of herself, her LEXICON, multi-dimensionality, stories, worth, wisdom, failures, successes, loss, grief, mistakes, wins, gains, potential, senses, knowing, sensuality, sexuality, love, and creations to play in the field of possibility. A woman who is consciously activating her “second and third, fourth, fifth or whatever number of new bloom” and bringing yet another evolved version of herself to the world is certainly ICONIC. The amount of energy it takes to create a whole new vital generation and audacious iteration of yourself in your 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and beyond means having to defy the rigid limitations, traditional expectations and deplorable standards that have been imposed upon women as they age. To continuously choose to birth a new you at every age, to be sexy to yourself and feel electrified in your own bones and skin, to further explore and open heartedly share your particular genius without limits, to call upon the forces of nature and continue to build a strong body and a bold body of work in whatever ways and places that are most true to you, is Iconic. When the Dalai Lama said, “it’s the women of the Western world who are going to save us”, I believe he was referring to the radiant Mothers, the Enchantresses and Icons who are actively building the future together and with the men who love the Divine Feminine.

Might be time for me to return to your Creative Cauldron!

May 43 be enchanting and iconic for you! 🌹

Every word. Farts! Benji! Dirt! I hope I can slowly let more of my humor out alongside the "deep stuff" as I continue moving toward my 40's. Thank you for leading the way. Happy birthday 🫶🏻

Thank you, Lisa! I feel like I really recovered my humour in a way. I think it was always there, but there was something about finding myself burdened by the "deep stuff" in a way where I was like "it has to be possible to have more fun than this, even with all the pain and challenge of life. Even while taking very seriously the things that matter." Sometimes the gap between the way my child is able to play with abandon and how I resist following into that flow shows me that there's a long way to go in being truly free with my being. Thank you for being here, I'm so grateful to know you.
