I’ll come to you!
Let’s be A Little Bit Much Together
Forget this “see you on Zoom” business, this “I’ll call you tomorrow” garbage, this “I’ll send you a VM” bullsh*t.
Let’s be together in real life!
If someone forwarded you this email or post, they think you have a bangin’ sense of humour and great taste. They want to tell you you’re awesome by making this recommendation.
They think you should see my show.
My Canadian tour of A Little Bit Much kicks off soon.
It’s about coming of age in the 90s and coming of middle age right now. It’s about identity, cultural expectation, the tragedy of self-help and the crazy-making sham of “having it all”. It’s about being told and sold that we’re too much, not enough and should always be striving.
It’s incredibly funny and painfully real.
You’ll want to process it with your best friend, your partner, and, maybe, your therapist.
Bowen Island and Vancouver tickets are selling fast. If we boost sales now, I’ll add a second show in both cities, which would be a BOSS way to start this sweet dream.
Will you help?

Unlike STIs, this show spreads best by word of mouth. Let’s infect our friends with a great night out!
I’m so grateful 🤩🎉🥳

Community & Audience Love
If you’re new here and don’t know the background on this show or my career, here’s a quick recap.
I’d been running a coaching company for over 15 years, coaching entrepreneurs, practitioners, authors, CEOs and creatives. Mostly in the online space, primarily focusing on aligning life’s work with Calling.
When I turned 40, I had an existential crisis because I’d been overriding my creative callings to maintain my identity and business. I was being a self-judgy b-word for not having written a book yet.
I started writing a one-woman show as creative recovery. It was entirely for me, felt self-indulgent, and I had no intention of performing it, let alone having it take over my life.
After my first performance in 2024, I was like Oh, this is what I do now. Called. Done. Going for it. I began touring it that year.
I retired my coaching practice, hosted a Wake for my 15-year career, began booking comedic speaking and facilitation gigs, relaunched a new website for this new chapter and am about to tour the county.
The more I perform the show, the more demand grows (a great sign!) Many people have seen it multiple times.
Here’s the rub…The hardest part of this transition has been understanding that what I do now provides value. Weird right? I have measured my contribution as a service provider, in the results I create for others, for so long, that pursuing art and expression in this way felt selfish at first.
Until I started paying attention to its impact on audience members…
Like this moment turned core memory:
After my Vancouver show last November, a man approached me and said “Thank you. I am looking forward to going home and getting to know my wife better.” I cry every time I think about that.
Or this text exchange:
Or this moment in my local coffee shop:
A woman approach me and said “Hi, we don’t know each other, but I saw your show. It was so incredible. To see you up there talking about those things and just being so fully yourself, I feel like it gave me permission to be fully myself.” And we stood there surrounded by strangers, hugging and crying and celebrating each other.
Or this comment at a pub:
“I saw your show. There was a woman in the audience, and our kids go to school together. We’ve chatted in the school yard for years, but always small talk, you know? After your show, we connected in the parking lot and had one of the most real conversations I’ve ever had in my life. Thank you.”
You guys…😭😭😭😭😭
Real conversations are all I’ve ever wanted to have. Real conversations behind closed doors with clients are how I’ve been contributing my whole career. Now I’m having them from stage and inspiring people to have them together. I can’t tell you how meaningful this is. And to do that while laughing our asses off?
Come play.
